A compact Tai-rubber reel designed for shallow-water and vertical fishing applications.

Shallow-water and vertical Tai-rubber fishing demand a reel that combines high rigidity with a compact profile.
The 2026 Kohga TW80 achieves this by leveraging the synergistic effect of HYPER DRIVE DIGIGEAR and the HYPER ARMED HOUSING (aluminum), thoroughly refining the core qualities of a Tai-rubber reel: performance and rigidity.

It also achieves a compact design through the use of a small-diameter spool.
Equipped with TWS (T-Wing System), it ensures a fast drop speedeven when using the lightweight heads typical of shallow and vertical fishingallowing for clear detection of the lure hitting the bottom.
Additionally, the inclusion of a Magforce brake system enables underhand casting to explore a wider area, even in conditions with no current or wind.
