Megabass Giant Dog-X

The Megabass Giant Dog-X combines a lifelike profile with a distinctive side-to-side, roll-walking action designed to trigger strikes even in calm conditions. Featuring Megabass’ patented Side Stepping Balancer System, the lure incorporates a lateral tungsten weight that shifts left and right, enabling sharp turning movements and crisp dog-walking action for anglers of all skill levels. As the lure walks, the laterally-moving weight causes it to roll flat against the water surface, creating an eye-catching flash of its detailed profile to fish below. Unlike traditional pencil baits that simply skate side-to-side, this rolling motion generates superior surface activity and visibility. The Giant Dog-X performs optimally in water temperatures between 55 and 85 degrees Fahrenheit. Early morning conditions and overcast or rainy days typically yield the best results with this lure.
